PROCUREMENT MANAGER (PM-JO)

Requirement:
S1, university degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years experience of procurement in a supervisory capacity.
The ideal candidate will have previously been an engineer who has a recognized qualification (Degree) and who has latterly developed within the procurement function.
Must execute procurement to meet company objectives.
Knowledge of ASME Code pressure vessels.
Must develop systems and controls to ensure compliance with quality standards.
A demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through orders.
An ability to think ahead and plan over a 1-2 year time span.
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.

Develop and implement procurement strategy for the business, quality assurance and problem resolution.

Provides procurement expertise in the areas of steel plates, specialty steel materials, pipes & pipe fittings, valves and vended products throughout the organization.
Ensures delivery schedules are maintained, developing and driving cost-saving and improvement initiatives in conjunction with finance.
Manages procurement budget.
Manages order placement from inquiry to delivery.
Manages document control.
Recommends methods, materials and layouts for improvement based on manufacturing needs and capabilities.
Builds, develops and manages buyer team capable of carrying out needed procurement initiatives.

TIPS SALARY NEGOTIATION
How much salary which you asks ?
When in interview, you asked how much salary which you wishs, how to answer the question carefully without generating impression that you are high salary searcher or gives impression that you will take any reward given.
In general company has had salary standard spread for the occupation that is on the market. For applicant for scarce and higher level position usually haves the power of driving a bargain higher level. So in replying the question is you must obtain clear picture to total reward which you would receive in one year. Total reward is salary and other subsidy given including incentive and bonus. Besides need to be asked is reward that is on the market that be including tax or net income.
